Kanye West did the unthinkable when choosing a question lyric in his new song ‘Vultures’ featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Durk & Bump J

Kanye West has released a new song called “Vultures,” which features Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Durk, and Bump J.

Ye expands on some of his contentious words from late 2022 on the single, which aired Friday night (Nov. 17) on WPWX Power 92 Chicago.

Ye appears to reference his former manager Scooter Braun elsewhere in the song.

At the time of publication, “Vultures” was not yet available on music streaming sites.

West attracted widespread condemnation last year after making a series of anti-Semitic remarks. After receiving backlash for wearing a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt to Paris Fashion Week in October 2022, the rapper tweeted that he was going to go “death con 3” on Jews. This triggered a series of hate-filled interviews, which reached an even more alarming level when he appeared on Alex Jones’s InfoWars and claimed, “I see good things about Hitler,” among other vile remarks.

Kanye West - IntelligencerIt’s unknown whether “Vultures” will appear on West’s rumored joint album with Ty Dolla $ign. In mid-October, Billboard claimed that Ye and Ty were pitching a combined record to distributors and that West would “make a decision soon.” The album would be Ye’s first since his anti-Semitic statements, which caused Def Jam’s parent company, Universal Music Group, to distance itself from the musician.

Ty indicated on social media earlier this month that he and West were preparing a multi-stadium listening event for their joint album on November 3rd, similar to the three large listening concerts Ye organized for Donda in 2021. The event, however, did not take place, and no release date for the record has been announced.
