Lil Wayne is refuting the allegations that he wed Denise Bidot, his intermittent girlfriend.
The rapper, 38, clarified his relationship status on Thursday night during an Instagram live after Nicki Minaj brought up his post from April, which raised rumors that he and the 35-year-old model were married. Wayne said, “Happiest man alive!” in the tweet. We are starting our forever today. Permanently? Eternally, ever? Forever and ever! Carter Family.”
“I was like, ‘Oh, what’s going on?'” after seeing some tweets the other day. “I texted you, saying, ‘Oh, congratulations.'” Minaj, 38, remarked, “I can tell you’ve been in a good mood.” “And I said, ‘Congratulations,’ because I thought you had gotten married.”
Wayne answered, “I’m really happy you asked me that. I never got hitched.”
Wayne continued by explaining that he was referring to his sons, who had recently formed a rap group under the same nаme, when he wrote “The Carters” in his tweet.
“I said ‘The Carters,’ and girl, that’s my dаmn sons, that’s my sons’ little nаme of their little group,” he laughed.
Wayne posted an adorable video of Bidot writing their names in the sand just one week before to his widely shared tweet. He was heard saying, “Okay, you wanna talk about it / Let’s write our names in the sand / Draw a heart around it, yeah,” in the backdrop of one of his new songs.
With a series of images that Bidot posted on her Instagram account in June 2020, the couple first made their romance official on social media.
When Love B. Scott, a gossip writer, revealed in November of last year that Wayne had endorsed then-President Dоnald Trump before the 2020 election, many fans assumed the two had broken up.
“I love how I live, and I live how I love.” In a mysteriоus tweet at the time, he stated, “I’m a lover, not a lighter because they bur𝚗 out.” “Either go with a third-degree bur𝚗 or an eternal flame of love, or stay and Ԁie in love.” You’re perspiring. Regards, The Fireman.
Then, according to The Blast, the model posted a mysteriоus comment on social media in early January 2021, saying, “Pretty disappointing when you defend someone throughout everything and they turn out to be just as s—ty as everyone said they were.”
In May, Bidot most recently posted a picture of herself and Wayne to Instagram with the caption, “FOREVER.”
Wayne previously wed Toya Jackson from 2004 until 2006; the two had a daughter named Reginae. Cameron, Dwayne, and Neal are his sons from prior relationships.
