The 34-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs is about to leave for Argentina after his team defeated the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany.
The NFL player will be finding time in his schedule to attend the three gigs the “Cruel Summer” singer has scheduled in Buenos Aires from Thursday through Saturday, an insider tells PEOPLE.
After the Chiefs’ victory over Miami on November 5, they had a bye week, which allowed center Jason Kelce, the athlete’s older brother, a little additional time before the team’s matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.
In their most recent podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the siblings talked about the potential of Travis traveling to South America.
“Is there anything you’re excited to attend?” Jason, 36, questioned his younger brother while they were reading a Seat Geek advertisement.
Playing into the chaos surrounding his relationship with the pop artist, Travis answered, “Not really.” I don’t know, I might just say f— it and head somewhere beautiful. I must travel somewhere sunny because my skin is starting to turn really pale.
Swift showed her support at some of his games — even sitting in the suite with his mother, Donna.
Footage from the match, shared by Fox Sports on X (formerly known as Twitter), shows the girls smiling, cheering and clapping in a room at the Kansas City, Missouri, stadium. Both wore their team’s colors on this occasion.
In early October, Donna spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about whether she considered herself a Swiftie before Travis spent time with the superstar.
“I would say no. My era is Earth, Wind and Fire, Chaka Khan, things like that. That’s more my music,” she explains. “But obviously, talent is talent.”
