Kanye West and DJ Khaled have been in the studio working on what will undoubtedly be a future mega song (you decide whether that’s sarcasm). Perhaps more crucially, Khaled provided his friend Ye with a pair of extremely rare Air Jordan 3s.

Of course, the gifting had to be publicized on social media or it wouldn’t have occurred.

The trainers in issue are the blue Father Of Asahd x Air Jordan 3s that Khaled created in collaboration with Jordan Brand. Only 100 were created, as Khaled constantly states, and he also mentions in the video’s title that he doesn’t have any left.

Ye recently threw sneakerheads for a spin when he published a photo of the Jumpman emblem and an old social media post from Michael Jordan’s son Marcus proposing a meeting between himself, Air Jordan, Khaled, and Yeezy. Immediately, speculation about what was going on began to run rampant, especially given Ye’s ties to Adidas.

While Khaled was dressed in green Air Jordan 4s, Ye was dressed in those massive Red Wing boots. That’s all there is to it.
