When a bug flew into Taylor Swift’s mouth during her Eras Tour, she was most definitely not “ready for it.”

According to videos posted on social media, the pop star unexpectedly started coughing and gagging in front of more than 60,000 fans onstage at Soldier Field in Chicago on Sunday night. She then revealed to the crowd, “I ingested a bug. I truly apologize.

Swift dismissed her bad luck with a quick laugh, chuckling, “Oh, delicious.” God, oh God. Is there a possibility that none of you observed that?

With more jokes, she proceeded to “shake it off,” acknowledging that “it’s all right, I’ve swallowed it.”

The singer continued, “So I’m just going to try not to do as many of those,” after getting over the accident. This is going to occur once more tonight. The bugs are innumerable. A thousand of them exist. In any case, I’ve enjoyed this. 

Swift was performing at her third and last Chicago concert when the embarrassing intermission occurred.

The 33-year-old Grammy winner celebrated the start of Pride Month on Friday at Soldier Field by sharing a heartfelt message with her LGBTQIA+ fan base.

“This is a safe space for you, and I’m looking out tonight and seeing so many incredible people who are living authentically and beautifully,” the woman remarked. “This is a place for celebration for you.”
