Taylor Swift paid Beyoncé a visit at the Los Angeles premiere of her “Eras Tour” movie one month ago. On Thursday, Swift attended the London premiere of Queen Bey’s “Renaissance” film, dressing in costume.
The “Cruel Summer” hitmaker strutted down the red carpet at the event donning a silver Balmain gown with a high split that was encrusted with glittering sequins and stones.
The look was completed with classic black Giuseppe Zanotti slingbacks, Anita Ko jewelry, waves reminiscent of Old Hollywood, and Swift’s characteristic red lip.
After Beyoncé asked fans to wear their “most fabulous silver fashions” to her gigs in August, the glittering shade has since become the unofficial color of the “Renaissance” tour.
For Thursday’s event, the woman of the hour opted for a black sequined blazer gown.
The way she’s educated me, along with every other artist here, to disobey industry conventions and breach the law. Her sense of generosity. Her adaptability and tenacity. Her presence tonight felt like something out of a fairy tale, since she has been a beacon of guidance for me throughout my career.
Swift couldn’t pass up the chance to promote her fellow pop hitmaker across the pond, even if she was performing an Eras Tour event in São Paulo on Saturday and missed the LA “Renaissance” premiere.
“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” is currently showing in theaters and will also be available for rent on demand starting on December 13—Swift’s birthday—while “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” opens in theaters on November 30.
