Taylor Swift’s representative denies reports that the singer wed Joe Alwyn in secret.

The claim that “Midnights” singer Taylor Swift and her ex-husband Joe Alwyn secretly wed during their six-year romance was refuted by Swift’s agent.

According to Deuxmoi, a social media account that disseminates rumors about celebrities, Swift and Alwyn allegedly had a “ceremony” in the UK in 2020 or 2021.

Tree Paine, however, retaliated, labeling the ingrained notion as “fabricated lies.”

“Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi,” Paine posted to X. “There was never any sort of ceremony or marriage. Posting something like this is crazy. It’s time to answer for the suffering and trauma you inflict on others by posts like this.”

The post was uploaded on Thursday by the Deuxmoi account, which has 2 million followers on Instagram alone.

“She DID have a ceremony in either 2020 or 2021 in the UK and it was described to me as a ‘marriage’ by more than one person,” the unidentified individual wrote. “It was NEVER made legal.”

Taylor Swift in her Lover Era

“On this hill, I shall perish! Put that on my grave marker,” the post continued. “I don’t need to lie; I could care less about what she does! I apologize for her not mentioning it in a song, but just because she doesn’t sing about something doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

“Well, I make zero dollars from lying… can publicists say the same?” wrote Deuxmoi, doubling down later.

Furthermore, it seems like a bad choice of words to connect something that happened years ago to “pain & trauma” in light of recent events. In any case, I’m sorry to Taylor.”

An additional response was requested by Fox News Digital, but Swift’s representative did not immediately respond.

Following Swift’s “You’re Losing Me (From the Vault)” release for streaming, there was back and forth. The eagerly awaited release of the poignant song reignited rumors about the exact breakup date between Swift and Alwyn. Additionally, some fans questioned the song’s possible writing date.

Swift seems to be pleading with her spouse to start treating her better in the song’s lyrics, which allude to an impending breakup.

“You say, ‘I don’t understand,‘ and I say, ’I know you don’t/ We thought a cure would come through in time, now, I fear it won’t/ Remember lookin’ at this room, we loved it ’cause of the light/ Now, I just sit in the dark and wonder if it’s time.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in NYC

In the song, Swift sings, “And I wouldn’t marry me either/ A pathological people pleaser/ Who only wanted you to see her.” Another reference to marriage.

Longtime Swift partner Jack Antonoff, who produced and co-wrote the song, disclosed that it was composed on December 5, 2021, more than a year before Swift and Alwyn announced their separation.

Swift is concentrating on her current relationship with NFL player Travis Kelce and has moved past the turmoil with Alwyn. The first time the two were seen together was on September 24, when Swift went to a Kansas City Chiefs game.

Following their official declaration of love, Swift and Kelce have been spotted out on dinner dates in New York City.

Swift and Kelce have prioritized spending time together by traveling together as well. Kelce boarded a plane to Argentina to accompany Swift on her “Eras Tour.” Swift, meanwhile, has been seen flying in on her private aircraft and landing in Kansas City, Missouri, where it appears she will be spending time with Kelce.
