The 42-year-old SKIMS CEO disclosed on Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians that her divorce from the 46-year-old ex-husband Kanye West had been finalized. Kardashian examines her storage container, which contains mementos from her marriage, in a subsequent scene.
“This is like my time capsule of the best times, the reality is life is different and when you know it can never get back there, that’s what sucks and that’s what’s hard,” she asserts during a confessional.
“However, my children will never forget this, and it will serve as the most fitting tribute to them.” She continues, “I had the greatest father in the entire world, and I would never want to Ԁeprive my children of that experience.”
Kardashian is the parent of four children with West, namely sons Psalm, 4, and Saint, 7, and daughters Chicago, 5, and North, 10.
The Kardashians host earlier this season discussed with the mother of four how public drаmа involving West affects their children. “I still feel the need to not talk about it and protect it from my kids and I always will feel that way but God, if people knew,” according to her. “I would just never do that to my kids.”
Kardashian stated, about the ups and downs of their relationship, that she devoted “countless hours of my days to the cleanup crew.”
Kardashian further stated in a confessional, “It is the most difficult emotion to witness the transformation of a person you deeply cared for into a person with whom you share a family that is nothing like what you once knew.”
Kardashian acknowledged in the confessional, “I enter crisis mode because I must devise a shielding mechanism, although they have yet to observe anything.” “I am the one who is being held accountable and accused of numerous offenses.” It stinks and is extremely, extremely hurtful, but I have control over my reactions and whether or not I become a disаster. My children will then observe that.”
“I do believe that one day, my kids will appreciate my silence, my understanding, and my grace, and I will try to keep it together at all times.”
Kardashian described herself to Vogue in 2022 as her ex-spouse’s “biggest cheerleader” in the presence of their children. “You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be ‘Your dad’s the best,'” she stated regarding co-parenting.
“Make sure you are your co-parent’s biggest cheerleader, no matter what you’re personally going through,” according to her.
