Travis Kelce called Taylor Swift his beloved wife and promised to marry her next year

Although Taylor Swift claims in song that she’s never been a natural and that all she does is try, try, try, etc., fan footage from Sunday night’s Chiefs game reveals that the singer’s nickname for her beau, Travis Kelce, is completely genuine.

Swift is the queen of hidden meanings and references; her and her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn may have refashioned him as “William Bowery” for co-writing credits on her pаndemic albums—perhaps not the most obvious pet nаme—but her nickname for Kelce is much more straightforward. Take, for instance, the Swiftie corner of the internet going bonkers over the mention of “blue dress on a boat” in the recently released “From the Vault” track, “Is It Over Now?”

“Trav, come on!” Swift can be seen growling during Sunday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers from her vantage point in the VIP box. Trav! Less like Travis, though. conserves time. It’s just sensible. the diminutive’s basic definition.

Naturally, Kelce seems to have given Swift an equally innovative nickname: Travis thanked Swift for her social media support on the most recent episode of New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, a fellow NFL player who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles. Swift had liked a Chiefs Instagram post honoring Travis’ most recent record for tight end accomplishments.

Regarding the shoutout, Travis replied, “Okay, now.” “Well, thanks, Tay. I appreciate your support of the Yeti on the Chiefs website.

For the record, it seems that Swift did not coin the term “the Yeti,” but rather it was already in use.

For Taylor, Tay? Logic just cannot be questioned.

For the record, Swift’s passionate cheering during Sunday’s game didn’t help the Chiefs win; they lost 19–27 to the Packers, their first loss while Swift was present. Simone Biles, the Olympic gymnast who won gold, was also present to support her husband Jonathan Owens, a Packers safety. Despite being famous wоmen of the night, Biles and Swift’s boyfriends were the ones who stole the show in the performance that ended the evening. The game ended when Owens shoved Kelce, who was trying to flip the tide by getting a Hail Mary pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Swift has attended five Chiefs games, but this was her first time seeing the squad suffer a defeat in person.

A request for comment from Taylor Swift’s representative was not immediately answered.
