Funny corner: Travis Kelce missed Taylor Swift’s birthday in New York because of his busy schedule

The birthday girl’s significant other will be missed.

Due to previous sports commitments, Travis Kelce will not be traveling to New York City to celebrate his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s 34th birthday.

The Kansas City Chiefs player will stay in Kansas City, Missouri on Wednesday for required practice, a source has confirmed to Page Six.

The singer of “Bad Blооd” came to New York City on Tuesday to begin her birthday party at club Zero Bond, where she was joined by her best friend Selena Gomez, actor Miles Teller, and his spouse Keleigh Sperry.

Swift skipped the Time Magazine Person of the Year gala earlier that evening, and the three of them were seen exiting the private membership club that evening.

Kelce was able to celebrate with his partner a few days ahead of time, despite not being able to travel to New York City for her big day.

The 34-year-old tight end and the Grammy winner, who announced their romance in September, showed off their PDA at a holiday party in Kansas City after the Chiefs’ Sunday night home loss to the Buffalo Bills.

With friends, the power couple became closer while grinning for the camera. Swift and Kelce enjoyed the festivities together at one point, sharing a passionate kiss.

The “Cruel Summer” singer donned a low-cut, sequin-lined bodysuit, sheer tights, knee-high boots, and a black leather miniskirt; her lover, on the other hand, was decked up in a plaid jacket, khaki pants, white sneakers, and a hat.

At the game, the pop star donned a vintage Chiefs sweatshirt that Westside Storey had given her.

The two-time Suρer Bowl champion and Swift were spotted leaving the stadium together, looking dejected after their team’s three-point loss to the Bills.

The birthday girl hasn’t been spotted in public on her special day yet, but on Wednesday, cameras saw a constant stream of flower arrangements arrive at Swift’s New York City home.

The singer of “Blank Space” also celebrated the arrival of her “Eras Tour” movie on streaming platforms by posting on Instagram.

“It was an incredible experience to bаttle dragons with you, youuuu 🫶 “Celebrate 34 with me by watching The Eras Tour (Extended Version) at home, featuring songs like “Long Live” , “The Archer” , and “Wildest Dreams” 🩵,” the user wrote in the caption of an Instagram image.

“PS: You can make fun of me for using millennial emojis excessively and literally, but two things happen: A) I’m glad to be a millennial, and B) it’s my birthday today, so I get to enjoy myself!
