1 NYU Honorary Fine Arts Doctorate

The pop diva received an honorary doctorate from New York University in purple in May 2022. Swift addressed the 2022 class during Yankee Stadium graduation.
Her commencement speech referenced “Welcome to New York” and “22” and discussed her experiences in the spotlight. The singer told her fellow graduates to “learn to live alongside cringe,” mocking her prior style: “I had a phase where, for the entirety of 2012, I dressed like a 1950s housewife. But you know what? I was having fun.”

Three renowned cats are raised by the cat lover. Swift named her first Scottish Fold Meredith Grey after Ellen Pompeo’s Grey’s Anatomy character in 2011. Olivia Benson, Meredith’s sister, was named after Mariska Hargitay’s Law & Order: SVU character a few years later.
In 2019, Swift’s third cat, Benjamin Button, was a Ragdoll.

Over time, the artist has had several film roles. She played a lovestruck youngster in Valentine’s Day (2010) with Taylor Lautner. She voiced The Lorax in 2012 and made a cameo in The Giver (2014) alongside Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges, and Alexander Skarsgård.

Before releasing 1989’s “Vault” songs, Swift tested her followers’ puzzle-solving talents. Keen participants were told to Google “Taylor Swift” and solve one of 89 world riddles after clicking on a blue vault. Once 33 million problems were solved, the singer promised fresh song titles.
Swift again broke the internet and Google collapsed, leaving followers upset and bewildered when the blue vault didn’t appear. The corporation released a message: “Swifties, the vault is jammed! But don’t worry, there are no blank spaces inside. We’re in our fix-it era and will be out of the woods soon.”
