Again generating headlines with his grandiose aspirations, Kanye West has revealed his intentions to construct DROAM, an autonomous metropolis in the Middle East. The American rapper, presently identified as Ye, reportedly intends to establish DROAM in the Middle East; however, he has not specified a location. The rapper’s ambitious scheme, known as ‘Unreleased Ye’ on the X (formerly Twitter) platform, encompasses an enormous 100,000 acres—an area that is twice the size of New York City. 

The tweet indicates that Ye’s city design is currently in the Phase 1 development stage. He is proactively soliciting partnerships and issuing invitations to architects, contractors, constructors, project managers, and engineers to partake in his ambitious undertaking. 

Following the declaration, Ye’s supporters have been agog with both anticipation and doubt. “Bro went from trying to be the president of America to building his city in the Middle East,” a user on X commented. “Bro is striving to attain the status of a sheik by 2024.” “He will go by the nаme Kanyedeen,” said one individual in jest. 

“It sounds like a genuine Kanye quest,” one third user remarked. “Yecosystem: Ye’s new mini-cities with branded homes and stores,” added an additional. 

It is worth noting that Ye’s announcement is made against the backdrop of unresolved projects and neglected properties. According to The Post, the rapper has baited his admirers with album announcements that never materialized, much to the dismay and frustration of his followers. It was also anticipated that his most recent collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign would be available last weekend; however, it never materialized. 

Criticizing this, one X user remarked, “He is attempting to drop a city when he couldn’t even drop an album.”
