The vocalist of “Midnights” claimed to be “so moved” by what the fan wrote in the heartfelt TikTok.

Take out a Kleenex. This one makes me cry.

The “Lover” singer replied, stating she was “so moved” by what the ardent Taylor Swift fan had said in an emotional video she had put on TikTok earlier this week, thanking the Midnights for helping her get closer to her 9-year-old daughter.

It all began when Jenny, the Swiftie, revealed that she is a working single mother. However, with Swift’s assistance, Jenny and her daughter have become closer this year after attending The Eras Tour, watching the tour’s concert film in theaters, and renting the film to watch at home while enjoying some pizza. All of these exciting events led the young child to turn to her mother and say, “I’ve had more fun with you this year than ever before.”

Jenny was brought to tears by the sentiment and felt obliged to share the touching story with Swift as well as her fans. She captioned the photo with Swift and wrote, “Thank you @TaylorSwift for everything!”

“To have my daughter sit there and tell me, ‘This has been the best year yet, with you.'” I’m a mother by myself. Every day, I go to work. Jenny stated in the video, “That means so much to me, much more than my love for you. “I didn’t think [my love for you] could get more, but hearing that come from my daughter’s mouth, girl, I will take a bullet for you.”

Jenny continued by expressing her gratitude to the 34-year-old singer for enabling her daughter to thrive through her music (“Mean” is helping her get through the males in school,” she added) and for assisting them in creating lifelong memories.

“I just wanted you to know that you have changed my mom-heart and have brought my daughter and I closer together,” Jenny said.  

Swift saw the TikTok video, which went viral and has already received over 1.5 million views. She was deeply touched by it and responded with a kind note for Jenny.

Swift answered, “You just reminded me of why this year has been so special,” in the comment area. “What you stated has really touched me. It brings back memories of that age that I shared with my mother.”

Swift, who in 2023 delighted in establishing a benchmark for excellence in concert performances, has had an incredible year. She was named Time’s 2023 Person of the Year for a variety of reasons, including this and the fact that her Eras Tour concert film in theaters broke records.

“It is not an easy undertaking to choose one individual to symbolize the eight billion people on the earth. There were other options for 2023, but we ultimately decided on a choice—someone who embodies joy,” Time’s Editor-in-Chief Jacobs of Swift stated during the Today program. Someone who is making the world a brighter place by taking her own story and expanding it to include everyone. Furthermore, I don’t believe anyone has moved as many people as Taylor Swift did in 2023.”
