Travis Kelce has approved Taylor Swift and his relationship nickname—literally.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end autographed a jersey with his number, 87, and “Swelce” at the top.
The mix is one of Kelce and Swift’s “ship-names” along with “Traylor.”
Chiefs Bid, an NFL auction site where fans can bid on player-signed and worn gear, auctioned the red and white bespoke Chiefs jersey.
A lucky fan paid $500 for the handmade jersey.
Kelce and Swift’s relationship has captivated Swifties and the NFL since they announced it three months ago.
On Sept. 24, Swift and Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, made their Arrowhead Stadium debut.
Fans speculated if this was Swift and the NFL star’s first date, but Swift told Time Magazine last month that they had been quietly dating for a while.
She and Travis, 34, “started hanging out right after” the athlete called her out on his “New Heights” podcast in July, Swift said the source.
He was recounting his failed attempt to give Swift his number through a friendship bracelet while seeing one of her Missouri shows.
“So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to know each other,” Swift said.
Travis has also praised “Lavender Haze” singer several times.
“I’ve never dated anyone with that persona… I’ve never dealt with that,” Kelce told WSJ. Magazine last month. However, I am not avoiding any of it. Her daily monitoring, photographers outside her house, every restaurant she visits, and after every airplane she lands, and she’s simply living and enjoying life.” reported that Swift will attend Travis’ Christmas Day and New Year’s Day football games against the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.
“She’ll for sure be at the games,” said a source.
