Companionable ex-spouses?
Almost a year after their separation, Kanye West and his ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk shared a chuckle at the Burberry presentation during London Fashion Week.
The Yeezy founder, 45, was reportedly embracing Shayk, 36, while greeting several models backstage on Monday, as captured in a video published by Vogue.
She laughed and said, “I got you!” before the rapper continued his conversation with Riccardo Tisci, creative director, Bella Hadid, Stella Maxwell, Erykah Badu, and others.
The “Donda” rapper — who has since moved on with Candice Swanepoel — matched with an all-black ensemble consisting of a leather jacket, matching leather pants, a hoodie, and crystal embellished flip-flops.
West, who was spotted dining with pals at Hakkasan Mayfair the night before, later showed love to Shayk when he posted an Instagram video of the model walking the runway.
The brief run-in was one of the first times the former couple has been spotted together since they went their separate ways back in July 2021.
Romance rumors started swirling in June of that year when the pair were seen in Provence, France, celebrating West’s 44th birthday.
However, two months later, things quickly fizzled out when the model — who shares a 5-year-old daughter with Bradley Cooper — decided the two would be better off as friends.
“She likes him as a friend, but doesn’t want a relationship with him,” one source told Page Six at the time, adding that “she doesn’t want the association that they are dating” to be making headlines.
Although Shayk prefers to keep her relationships out of the public eye, West has used social media to talk about his relationship with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, following their divorce.
West later revealed he and the “Skims” founder are on better terms and has since apologized for adding any unneeded “strеss” on the reality star.
“This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any strеss that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger,” he said when reflecting on his social media tirades while on Good Morning America.
The former couple share kids North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
