The date that Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s new record “Vultures” is set to come out has changed yet again.
Since August, when it was said that West was working on new songs, the two have been giving fans hints about the long-awaited record. “Vultures” was supposed to come out on October 13, but it was pushed back to November 3 to fit with a “multi-stadium listening event” that didn’t happen. It was then pushed back to December 15, but it never happened.
The rap team then planned to release the album this Friday, January 12, but Apple Music started to show that the date had been pushed back another week, to January 19. This was likely done so that it wouldn’t come out at the same time as Kid Cudi’s much-anticipated “INSANO” record.
But another fan has read the code behind the page of the “Vultures” pre-sale link and found that the record won’t come out until the 26th of January, as planned.
The account yzybotmert shared a video on X/Twitter that showed a line of code that supposedly shows the real record release date. It said “releaseDate: “2024-01-26T08:00:” in the code.
Fans now want to know if “Vultures” will come out on January 19 or 26. As of now, neither Kanye West nor Ty Dolla Sign have announced when the new “Vultures” album will be out.
Def Jam Recordings said in 2022 that they would no longer work with Ye and his G.O.O.D. Music label because of his past of anti-Semitic comments. Ye has since apologized for these comments. In October of that year, it was said that Ye and Dolla Sign were still looking for a publisher for the project they were working on together.
The two artists showed off the new record at a special event last month before the cops came and shut it down. West and Dolla Sign showed off features from Freddie Gibbs, Playboi Carti, Future, James Blake, and more. It will also be the first time North West, Kanye West’s oldest child with Kim Kardashian, sings on a record. Also, they played “Everybody,” which is a cover of the famous Backstreet Boys song “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”
