Kanye West Shares Love for Kid Cudi’s New Album Following Rift Between Artists

The artist formerly known as Kanye West has expressed admiration for Kid Cudi’s new album Insano, notwithstanding their previous disputes.

Ye appeared in an uncommon Instagram Stories post where he displayed a screenshot of the Apple Music application while listening to “Electrowavebaby.” It is evident from the absence of captions that Ye is attempting to put his differences with Cudi behind him in preparation for the release of Vultures, his long-awaited collaboration album with Ty Dolla Sign.

A month prior to the post, the two were spotted embracing and conversing at a Vultures event in Las Vegas. Ye and Ty also unveiled a song at one of the Vultures events that seemed to incorporate Cudi’s vocals; however, it is not immediately apparent whether these are new vocals or from a previous studio session.

In 2021, behind closed doors, the two artists who had collaborated on the 2018 studio album Kids See Ghosts experienced a strained relationship due to Ye’s increasing adherence to far-right cоnspiracy theories. Cudi stated that Ye, who in 2022 expressed admiration for Һitler in a peculiar and unsettling interview, was no longer his friend subsequent to the publication of “Rock n Roll,” a collaboration with Pusha-T.

Kanye West to debut 'Famous' music video | CNN“I performed this song in April 2022, when I was still cool with Kanye, a year ago,” Cudi stated. “That man is not cool with me.” Although he is my acquaintance, I approved the song for Pusha solely because he is my friend. “This is the final track that Kanye will feature me on.”

Prior to that, Ye stated that Cudi’s absence from Donda II was due to the fact that he was “friends with you know who,” a reference to Pete Davidson, the ex-wife of the multihyphenate, with whom he had a brief romantic relationship. However, that seems to have been resolved, despite the fact that Cudi has maintained a relatively silent stance regarding the current state of his relationship with Ye.
