The rapper has acknowledged in the past that he has no idea “what McDonald’s smells like.”

Lil Wayne has maintained a good diet for more than 20 years.

The 40-year-old musician Young Money revealed his unusual roadside dining routine in an Instagram Story that Daily Loud took, noting that he hasn’t had fast food in decades and doesn’t even “know what McDonald’s smells like.”

“We had pulled over to cook, because you know I don’t eat fast food,” Lil Wayne can be heard saying as he exits his tour van in the footage. He weaves between parked automobiles and comes to the back of a car that is heaped high with bags that are presumably full of food. “See, we pulled over and we cooked,” he continued.

At the end of this video, the rapper sent a message to his supporters. He counseled young people to eat a balanced diet.

Lil Wayne has made it known that he used to abstain from fast food. The New Orleans native talked with host Zane Lowe in a February interview for New Music Daily on Apple Music about the guidance his mother, a chef, gave him when he went to Miami at the age of 19.

“Getting a personal chef was something she really wаnted me to do,” he remarked, then remembered her message, “‘You should get a personal chef, so therefore, you’re not just eating anything.'”

Lil Wayne confirmed he followed that advice and has had a personal chef since he was 19. “I don’t know what McDonald’s smells like. I haven’t eaten any fast food in forever,” he stated.

Aside from encouraging young people to eat healthier, Lil Wayne is all about giving back to them, too. In Dec. 2022, the Young Money rapper hosted “A Weezy Christmas” for the kids in his hometown of New Orleans at Dave & Buster’s.
