Kanye West debuts metal teeth: ‘Experimental dentistry’ didn’t involve removing his real teeth

Ye has some fresh teeth.

The rapper, who used to go by the nаme Kanye West and has since apologized for using racist language, showed off a pair of metal grills with sharp teeth on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Times and Today.com. In a different picture, he said it looked like Jaws, the bad guy played by Richard Kiel in “The Spy Who Loved Me” and “Moonraker,” two Roger Moore “James Bond” movies from the late 1970s.

There were rumors that Ye’s real teeth had to be taken out for the tooth implant process, but USA TODAY can confirm that this was not the case.

An insider who wasn’t allowed to talk to the press about the case told USA TODAY on Thursday that these fixed prosthodontics are “fixed and permanent” and didn’t require him to have any teeth taken out.

That being said, they’re not veneers or grills.

Dr. Thomas Connelly told the pop culture outlet Complex that Ye "did not have his teeth removed" and that "he still has a full dentition. Healthy and happy."The set of prosthodontics that Ye came up with professional help was called “experimental dentistry” by the source. Titanium makes up most of the product, but palladium and platinum are also used in some places. The piece was made and put in by Dr. Thomas Connelly, a dentist with offices in Beverly Hills and New York City who has worked with many famous people.

According to Complex, Connelly told the magazine that Ye “did not have his teeth removed” and that “he still has a full dentition.” Good health and happiness.”

We asked Connelly for a response and heard back from them.

Ye’s daughter, North West, shows off her grills

Ye and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian have a 10-year-old daughter named North West. This week, North West also showed off her grills. West put up a “photo dump” of 19 pictures of herself, her mom, and her friends on the TikTоk account she shares with Kardashian. In the third picture, which is a selfie, West pulls her lips back to show two of her top teeth and six bottom teeth that have been decorated. Ye’s 11th solo record, “Vultures,” is coming out soon.

It’s a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, who he always works with. The artist’s music and fashion careers were put on hold after he made racist comments in 2022. This will be his first record since then. Ye’s words about sleeping with Jewish wоmen in the title track, which came out on streaming services on November 22, got him in trouble.ADL told USA TODAY in a statement at the time that Ye’s social media apology for his antisemitic behavior could be the first step on a long road to making amends with the Jewish community and all those he has hurt. “He has done untold damage by using his vast influence and platform to pоisоn countless minds with vicious antisemitism and hate.”Ultimately, actions will speak louder than words but this initial act of contrition is welcome.”
