It looks like an A-list celebrity rivalry that started nearly 15 years ago is still going strong.

On September 13, 2009, 19-year-old Taylor Swift accepted the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video for her song “You Belong With Me.”

Kanye West reportedly stopped her address midway through, shоcking everyone with a few shоcking words.

“Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I [will] let you finish,” he said. “However, Beyoncé’s video was among the greatest ever! Among the greatest videos ever made!”

When West brought up Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” music video, the crowd booed, evidently upset with Swift. Even after West was taken off the platform and “Single Ladies” ended up winning Video of the Year, the R&B singer invited Swift to the stage so she could complete her statement.

It seems like Swift is still aware of that.

Swift attended the Suρer Bowl this past weekend to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce, whose Kansas City Chiefs won their second consecutive championship with an overtime victory of 25–22.

Swift and, presumably, West were among the A-listers who occupied the suites at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

However, according to former NFL player Brandon Marshall, Swift really ordered the rapper to leave the stadium.

In his 2016 Һit song “Famous,” West rapped about the VMA event, claiming that Swift became famous as a result of the incident.

Swift joined Kelce on the field to celebrate after the game when he had nine receptions for 93 yards in the Suρer Bowl. She celebrated at an after-party at Zouk in Las Vegas with Patrick Mahomes, Kelce, and other Chiefs players.
