Thousands of others were also escaping the neighbourhood as Travis hurried to safety as multiple shooters opened fire, leaving at least 22 people injured and one person deаd.
According to The Post, nine of the injured were minors.
A video posted on X purports to show that one of the three suspects was tackled by a Chiefs supporter. Juveniles make up two of the suspected gunmen.
Kelce, 34, discussed the deadly shooting shortly after it happened and expressed his grief, saying he was “heartbroken.”
He posted on X, saying, “I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today.” “My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who joined us in celebrating and was impacted. You are very important to me, KC.
Nonetheless, the NFL player appeared to be in a good mood when he went out to dinner for a prearranged get-together with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and other colleagues.
For the team to continue their week-long celebrations following their victory in Suρer Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Mahomes reportedly hired out Granfalloon Restaurant and Bar, according to TMZ.
Outside the eatery, the group asked the police for aid in managing the gathering.
According to images the publication got, Kelce was seen outside the restaurant pausing to pose for a picture with police officers while waving a peace sign.
