Thousands of Vietnamese Swifties, Taylor Swift admirers, wait daily to attend The Eras Tour (TET) in Singapore from March 2 to 9. This period also saw 2-3 times higher Lion Island airfares from Vietnamese cities.

Three times more expensive aeroplane tickets

Tri Thuc – Znews found that Ho Chi Minh City-Singapore airfares had doubled during TET, ranging from 4.4-8.9 million VNԀ/round-trip. feedback from Scoot, Vietjet Air, Vietnam Airlines, and Singapore Airlines. Flights from Hanoi cost Taylor Swift fans the least, up to approximately 9 million VNԀ/round-trip from Air Asia. Swifties must spend 8-12 million VNԀ for round-trip Vietjet and Air Asia flights from Da Nang. Some days are sold out, leaving just Singapore Airlines business tickets up to 24 million VNԀ.
