Ten-year-old North West, the eldest child of Kanye West, is already carrying on her father’s legacy by revealing that her debut album, Elementary School Dropout, is being recorded.

Not too long afterward, West conducted an uncommon interview with 13-year-old reporter Jazzy in which she addressed a number of topics on the fascinating new endeavor, including whether or not her rapper father would make a cameo.

North teased fans about her music during the interview, which was shared on Instagram by the Jazzy and Rolling Loud music event. Upon being directly questioned by Jazzy if there will be any “collabs with your dad” on the record, North raised her hands and exclaimed, “Maybe! We’re not sure.”

Reiterating that there isn’t a predetermined release date, she said Elementary School Dropout is “gonna be great.” In the video, Jazzy maintained the tempo while praising North’s “mysteriоus vibes.”

The interview was favorably received by fans, who commented that while North appeared “nervous,” Jazzy did a good job of keeping things lighthearted. One fan wrote, “Nice interview.” Not forced her, just managed the atmosphere. Well done.”

A third person commented, “Jazzy and North are both, if you’re being yourself you’re,” while another stated, “You handled that very well. North is such a kid, I love it.” Fantastic interview.”

Numerous others expressed their admiration for the two young ladies and expressed their excitement about what lay ahead for them.

While performing at one of West’s listening parties for his album Vultures 1, North made her first announcement that she was working on original music. She can be heard rapping on the track “TALKING.”

Given how young North is, some people expressed doubts about the announcement, while others gave her support and expressed their admiration for the album’s title, which seems to be a clear reference to West’s 2004 debut album, The College Dropout.
