Kanye West gave an unexpecteԀ performance for a pal after going unnoticed for several months.

The Game performed their joint track “Eazy” for the first time on stage Friday night at their event at Novo in Los Angeles, which was held in honor of West’s impending 10th album Drillmatic: Heart vs. Mind. The Game discussed his bond with West after the show, referring to him as his “brother.”

“This is my first time on stage with my brother, man,” 42-year-old The Game exclaimed, gesturing to 45-year-old West. “Let me tell you a little bit about him. He made it quite apparent that he wasn’t there to perform any music. He arrived in search of his sibling. He informed me of his arrival, said he would be three minutes late, and said he might interrupt the verse to take care of business.”

Jayceon Terrell Taylor, also known as The Game, claimed to have informed West that he could come “at the end of the show” and just “give him a hug” because he loved him.

He remarked, “Our friendship doesn’t waver,” and that he loves West regardless of what the latter does or says to him.

The “Flashing Lights” rapper entered the stage during the performance donning a ski mask and his trademark monochromatic, black ensemble. West also took a mic and began rapping his verse over the prepared voices that were playing through the speakers.

With this appearance, West will be performing live for the first time since his February Donda 2 show in Miami.

But in a rare public appearance in June at the BET Awards, the rapper gave buddy Sean “Diddy” Combs and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds the Lifetime Achievement Award.

“How are our kings crowned? How do we honor our monarchs?” West stated at the moment.

West will be the featured performer at Rolling Loud’s Miami Festival later this month.

“Eazy” was released in January by The Game and West. A claymation version of Pete Davidson, 28, who is presently dating Kardashian, seems to be kidnapped, bound, and buried in the music video, which was released by West in March. Later, West removed the video.

At the time, a source told PEOPLE that Kardashian was “upset” and “furious” about the music video. The source clarified, saying the reality star is “completely over all of this and she wants it to stop.” “She thinks it’s way too violent and is upset,” the source said.

Kardashian and West appear to have moved on from that point on. The two had dinner with their four children, Psalm, 3, Chicago, 4, Saint, 6, and North, 9, on Father’s Day in June.
