For the first time, Chris Martin’s father, the frontman of Coldplay, has discussed his son’s divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow.
Anthony Martin expressed his sorrow for the couple’s divorce, citing Apple and Moses as his two favorite grandchildren.
The former magistrate stated, “It is sad and upsetting but they are still great mates,” following the pair’s announcement of the news on the actress’ website, GOOP, on Tuesday.
Married people are aware that they experience both good and terrible days. However, they get along extremely well with one another.
Speaking at his house close to Exeter, the 73-year-old declined to address rumors that extramarital affairs may have been involved.
“But it is sad because there are our grandchildren,” the grandfather continued.
He did admit to chuckling to himself when Gywneth described her experience as a “conscious uncoupling.”

The father of five, whose own marriage disintegrated, nevertheless, declared: “I am extremely proud of what they have accomplished in their lives.” They remain excellent friends.
