Page Six has exclusive knowledge that Trevor Phillips, a former employee of Yeezy, who recently filed a lawsuit accusing Kanye West of abusing children, continues to permit his daughter to sing in the choir at Donda Academy.
Makayla Myles-Phillips is a member of the Donda Choir, and Page Six has received confirmation from multiple sources that her father has supposedly made “no attempts” to withdrаw her from the music program.
The young girl has reportedly been singing in the chorus since January and has truly flourished in both her vocal development and personal growth.
She is a talented vocalist. Makayla just performed, and she even had a solo, an insider who has experience working with the choir tells Page Six exclusively.
Before her solo, her mother had never heard her sing on her own. The curriculum has only increased her self-assurance.
Regarding the little child, a second source continues, “She is an amazing singer and rarely misses a rehearsal.”
Page Six has looked over copies of her attendance records from the previous few months, which indicate her presence.
According to both insiders, Trevor has never been spotted at any of his daughter’s sessions or performances.
But in his complaint, the former employee of Yeezy—who claimed in his lawsuit that he was employed to supervise initiatives pertaining to the cultivation of cotton for the brand’s apparel lines—said to have seen terrible conduct by West, 46, while working for the multibillionaire rapper.
Trevor claimed that West had engaged in antisemitic outbursts, shown photos, acted out a in front of him, and treated black employees differently from white employees.
But some of the most damning accusations that Trevor made concerned kids.
He said that during a figҺt, West had “vulgarly insulted and disparaged” Makayla by calling her “your daughter,” according to the lawsuit that Page Six was able to receive.
In addition, Trevor said that West had threatened to “lock them in cages,” “wаnted to shave their heads,” and “put a jail at the school.”
The employee who has worked with the choir at the Donda Academy exclusively tells Page Six that they think Trevor’s accusations are “just outrageous,” asserting that their observations are quite different.
The insider said, “To be honest, I find it bothersome because Ye is a generous guy.” “Everyone is aware that [West’s] life and light source are the children, the school, and everything related to Donda.”
