Lil Wayne didn’t make his sons stand up when greeting Queen Latifah and other things I pay attention to as a parent: ‘my children didn’t have to do that’

Just like I think most parents do, I spent a lot of time teaching my kids good manners and respect for older people. If their elders talk before they can sаy hello, they have to talk to their elders first every time they walk into a room.

When meeting someone, if they are sitting, they must get up to shake their hand. From a very young age, all kids learn a bunch of little things. Girls and boys. You remind them of those things and forgive them when they’re little.

But as they get bigger, you start to question them more harshly about why they don’t do the things you’ve been teaching them for years. How fun it is to be a parent. (It makes me happy.)You can imagine how crаzy my face got when I saw the video of Lil Wayne welcoming Queen Latifah to his three kids while they were watching a Los Angeles Lakers game.

The kids shook her hand, but none of them stood up. As I thought about why they didn’t stand up, I realized that kids need to be reminded of things right then and there.

They played this game on November 22, 2023, against the Dallas Mavericks. They may have learned their lesson since then, but your mom and cousin and I just saw this video on social media, so let’s talk about it.

Anyway, that’s where I got lost: Lil Wayne didn’t tell his boys to stand up like I thought he would. I found that strange because Lil Wayne is from the South and people from the South take things like that to heart.

Lil Wayne isn’t like the rest of us, but he’s from New Orleans and has a Black mother. Black mothers will usually be the first to make you feel bad for making them look bad. Feаr of making our moms look bad generally leads us to do bad things in the future, even when they’re not there.
