Coldplay’s Low-Carbon World Tour

With their historic moves toward sustainability during their 2022 Music of the Spheres World Tour, Coldplay created history. One of the most adored and significant bands in the world, they are writing the playbook to transform live music in the future.

Having collaborated with Coldplay’s team from the beginning of the tour’s planning, Live Nation was motivated by their commitment to sustainability to establish a new position inside the organization that will encourage the use of sustainable practices while on the road. Other Green Nation tours have continued to receive support from the newly created Green Nation Touring representative job.

To increase influence, Coldplay also entered into important alliances. By planting a tree for each ticket purchased during the Music of the Spheres World Tour and with the money raised from each individual t-shirt sale, the band collaborated with One Tree Planted to have a healing effect on the environment. Coldplay and One Tree Planted have planted nine million more trees in our ecosystem as of June 2023.
