Hip-hop legend Kanye West’s admirers are currently not too fond of him.
People have been disappointed that the musician hasn’t released his much awaited Vultures 2 album with Ty Dolla $ign, which was supposed to be released tonight, Friday, May 3, at midnight.
In an earlier interview with Justin LaBoy on The Download, Kanye West informed fans that the project will be released today. However, because neither of the musicians had been advertising it online in the days preceding the planned release, some fans started to lose faith in it. Prior to the project’s release, Kanye West even went so far as to announce his resignation from Twitter and Instagram, as per one rumоr.
The second installment of West and Ty Dolla $ign’s joint effort, Vultures 1, debuted on streaming services in February. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200 Albums list after receiving a great deal of praise from fans. But not long after its release, it was the subject of controversy since it was allegedly being attempted to be removed from many streaming platforms by the record’s distributors.
It appears that supporters were still holding out hope for a more seamless distribution of the sequel despite the controversy surrounding the original project’s rollout. Vultures 2 is already hours over its scheduled release, and fans haven’t held back when expressing their dissatisfaction, so it appears that things didn’t go as planned.
As of right now, it doesn’t seem like West or Ty Dolla $ign have provided any information on the release date for fans.
