The famous musician Ye (previously known as Kanye West) and Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West, just secured a high-profile role as a member of the cast of Disney’s “The Lion King” at the Hollywood Bowl.
Two performances of the unique live concert event will be recorded, with a subsequent Disney+ special to be published. On May 24 and 25, the two performances will take place in honor of “The Lion King’s” 30th anniversary.
Having worked with her father Ye on his most recent album “Vultures 1,” the 10-year-old media and music sensation will be embarking on another animal-related endeavor following her debut acting role in the family/comedy “Paw Patrol,” where she starred with her mother Kim Kardashian.
Along with Tony and Grammy Award winning Broadway star Heather Headley and Grammy Award winner Lebo M., dubbed the “voice and spirit” of “The Lion King,” North will be joining the previously announced cast members Jeremy Irons, Billy Eichner, Bradley Gibson, Ernie Sabella, Jason Weaver, Jennifer Hudson, and Nathan Lane.
