Billboard has contacted representatives of Adidas for a statement but has not confirmed the authenticity of the paper. Billboard has also reached out to representatives of Ye and Kim Kardashian, who were married from 2014 until 2022.

Adidas has said that after ending the collaboration, they have contributed a portion of the profits from those sales to organizations that work against discrimination and hatred, namely racism and antisemitism.

West may be alluding to the arbitration dispute when stating that the sports apparel business was “suing” him. The amount of $250 million involved in the lawsuit and its current status remain uncertain due to the confidential nature of arbitration processes.

In May 2023, the firm resumed selling Yeezy items after severing connections with West the previous year.
