‘They’re still great friends’: Chris Martin’s father breaks silence on son’s ‘conscious uncoupling’ with Gwyneth Paltrow and reveals he’s sad for his grandchildren

For the first time, Chris Martin’s father, the frontman of Coldplay, has discussed his son’s divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow.

Anthony Martin expressed his sorrow for the couple’s divorce, citing Apple and Moses as his two favorite grandchildren.

Married people are aware that they experience both good and terrible days. However, they get along extremely well with one another.

Speaking at his house close to Exeter, the 73-year-old declined to address rumors that extramarital affairs may have been involvedApple and Moses: The grandfather said: 'It is sad because there are our grandchildren'  (pictured with Chris).

He did admit to chuckling to himself when Gywneth described her experience as a “conscious uncoupling.”

“Everything is contained in the statement,” he stated, declining to delve farther into the subject.

The father of five, whose own marriage disintegrated, nevertheless, declared: “I am extremely proud of what they have accomplished in their lives.” They remain excellent friends.

The day he made these remarks, pals close to the stars informed The Sun that they were heartbroken by the breakup. He then went on to sаy, “He was the only thing that made her bearable.”

“Chris finds a lot of what she and does very crass,” a buddy added, “like dressing up in ridiculous designer gear and going to the pub.”
