While it’s common for graduating college students to receive a meaningful gift, Atlanta rapper and actor Ludacris has taken this tradition to a new level.
Known by his real name, Chris Bridges, Ludacris treated himself to a special graduation present after being awarded an honorary Bachelor of Science in Music Management.
He proudly showcased his luxurious new private jet on Instagram, tagging the post with “familyupgrade.”

In an excited display, the rapper couldn’t help but break into song as he gave a quick tour of the aircraft, singing the famous theme from “The Jeffersons.”
“We’re moving on up to the east side,” Ludacris sang, “To a deluxe apartment in the sky.”
“The secret to soaring high is staying grounded,” he added in the caption.

On May 4, Ludacris was honored with an honorary degree from Georgia State University during their commencement ceremony.
Back in 2019, he served as an artist-in-residence at Georgia State, where he mentored students and collaborated with faculty on entrepreneurship in the music and film industries. He also contributed to a law course at the university, titled “The Legal Life of…”
