From 2005 to 2017, rapper Diddy lived in a New York City apartment that is now available for $5.99 million.
This residence spans around 3,000 square feet and is situated in Manhattan’s Midtown West, just a short distance from Central Park.
The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom apartment is located at 230 West 56th Street in a building known as The Park Imperial.
In 2005, Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, bought the property for $3.82 million. Records show he sold it twelve years later for $5.7 million in a cash deal, though the process wasn’t without its challenges.
The 52-year-old “Coming Home” artist first put the property on the market in 2014 with an asking price of $8 million. The price was reduced several times before the eventual sale.
The apartment has been fully renovated, featuring wide-plank solid wood floors, high ceilings, and custom finishes.
According to the listing, the kitchen is outfitted with top-tier appliances, a vented cooktop, and a Sub-Zero refrigerator. The primary en suite bathroom has heated floors.
The building offers white-glove concierge service, access to the Imperial Club on the 47th floor, a fitness center, terrace views of Central Park, and valet parking.
Built in 2002, the structure houses over 110 condominiums, with residences starting on the 48th floor.
The listing is managed by Whitney Didier and Hannah Tran-Trinh of Douglas Elliman.
