In some cases, having two of something is better than one, especially when you have substantial wealth. With an estimated net worth of $200 million, comedian Kevin Hart is among the richest in his field. Public records reveal that he has invested $7 million in purchasing a mansion adjacent to his already impressive primary residence.
Hart’s main home, completed in 2018, is situated in a private gated community on the outskirts of Calabasas. This Mediterranean-style mansion, measuring 9,500 square feet, is set on a 26-acre lot, with 24 acres of the property being steep hillside. The estate features the main house, two detached guesthouses, a children’s playground, a large swimming pool, and a volleyball court.
The neighboring 16.3-acre estate, also mostly hillside, includes a two-acre graded lot with a 9,300-square-foot mansion. This residence, built in 2004, has a grey-tiled roof and is equipped with an infinity pool, a full-size tennis court, expansive lawns, and extensive gardens. This property was never officially listed for sale.
Hart acquired this neighboring estate from Shakim Compere, a film producer known for his work with Queen Latifah and their company Flavour Unit Entertainment. Compere and his wife Tonya bought the property for $6.7 million in 2015, so it is unlikely they made a profit from the sale to Hart and his wife Eniko Parrish.
Hart’s newly acquired 42-acre estate now includes two swimming pools, two sports facilities, and nearly 19,000 square feet of living space across multiple structures. It also provides off-street parking for numerous vehicles.
The additional home, concealed behind gates, features beige stucco and stone exteriors, with six bedrooms and six bathrooms. Inside, the residence boasts large formal living and dining areas with expansive windows and wide-plank oak flooring.
