Nicki Minaj has made a significant real estate investment by purchasing a luxurious $19.5 million property in the exclusive Hidden Hills neighborhood of California, known for its celebrity residents such as Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian.
After years of renting high-end homes throughout Los Angeles, including Beverly Hills and Malibu, the rapper has finally found a permanent residence. The new estate will house Minaj, her two-year-old son (whose name has not been publicly disclosed), and her husband, Kenneth Petty.
The impressive property features eight bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and two powder rooms, spanning 12,000 square feet. It also includes a detached guesthouse, cabana, and a saltwater pool. According to Dirt, the estate boasts a three-car garage, expansive lawns, and extensive landscaping for privacy.
Designed with luxury and comfort in mind, the main house includes pocketing glass doors that open onto various patios and terraces. The upstairs master suite features a private balcony overlooking the spacious backyard, ideal for enjoying serene views.
Minaj’s real estate journey has included renting a Beverly Hills mansion for $30,000 per month in 2016. However, her rental period was marred by a significant setback in 2017, when $200,000 worth of jewelry and other items were stolen from the property.
This new purchase represents a fresh chapter for Minaj, who aims to be a positive role model for Black women and inspire confidence through her success. In a Winter 2022 interview with i-D magazine, she expressed her desire to empower young girls to believe in their abilities without seeking validation from others. Minaj’s latest achievement not only provides a stable home for her family but also reinforces her message of self-reliance and representation in the music industry.
