To indulge in his hobby, PSquare impulsively purchased costly jets

Fans of the Nigerian music duo P-Square, comprising Peter and Paul Okoye, were buzzing with excitement over reports of their private jet acquisition. However, it has now been clarified that P-Square does not own a private jet as initially suggested.

In an exclusive interview with Peace FM’s ‘Entertainment Review,’ P-Square’s publicist, Bayo Adetu, set the record straight. He explained that the duo had not purchased a private jet but had instead entered into an arrangement with a private jet company. This deal grants them access to a designated jet whenever needed.

Adetu elaborated, “Regarding the private jet, it’s part of P-Square’s entourage due to our agreement with a private jet company. Whenever P-Square has an official event, they are entitled to use the private jet at any time.” This arrangement makes P-Square the only African artists with such exclusive access.

Adetu also confirmed the authenticity of P-Square’s recent deal with Universal Records. “Yes, it’s true. The contract was signed,” he said. He clarified that the agreement was global in scope, not limited to South Africa. Although signed in South Africa, the documents were forwarded to Universal Records’ global headquarters.

He hinted at exciting developments from the deal, noting, “I believe many positive changes are on the horizon. Both parties are pleased with the contract, and we are satisfied with everything it entails. That’s all I can share for now.”

The discussion also covered P-Square’s collaboration with American rapper Rick Ross. Their joint project, “Beautiful Onyinye,” has been a notable success. The song and its video, filmed in Miami and Cape Town and directed by P-Square’s elder brother Jude Okoye, have been released globally.
