Encino, a rapidly growing affluent neighborhood in Los Angeles, has become a hotspot for wealthy celebrities. Slash, the Guns ‘N Roses guitarist, resides in a $6.2 million mansion, while NBA star Tristan Thompson and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kemsley each spent $6.5 million on luxurious estates, with Kemsley securing a modern farmhouse in an off-market deal earlier this month.
In just under a month, a newly built Encino home sold for $5.65 million, nearly its asking price. The buyer is retired All-Pro football player Reggie Bush, known for winning the 2010 Super Bowl with the New Orleans Saints and currently working as an analyst on Fox’s “Big Noon Kickoff.”
Throughout his 11-year NFL career, Bush played for five teams, including the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins. Outside of sports, he’s also recognized for his past relationship with Kim Kardashian West in the late 2000s, before she entered her second and third marriages, and before Bush married professional dancer Lilit Avagyan.
Bush’s newly purchased “Modern Cape Cod” mansion in Encino, built by a local developer, offers 8,750 square feet of living space, six ensuite bedrooms, a three-car garage, and ample off-street parking in the motorcourt.
