In certain circumstances, having two is better than one, and this becomes increasingly true with greater wealth. With a reported net worth of $200 million, Kevin Hart ranks among the richest comedians in the industry. Public records reveal that he has invested $7 million in a mansion adjacent to a larger property he already owns.
Hart’s primary residence, completed in 2018, is located in a small gated community on the semi-rural outskirts of Calabasas. This 9,500-square-foot Mediterranean-style home is set on a 26-acre lot, of which 24 acres are steep hillside, rendering them unsuitable for further construction. The luxurious estate features not only the main house but also two detached guesthouses, a playground for children, a large swimming pool, and a volleyball court.
Next door lies a 16.3-acre estate, primarily consisting of hillside, but it includes a two-acre graded lot with a 9,300-square-foot mansion characterized by its grey tiled roof. This property also boasts an infinity pool, a full-sized tennis court, vast lawns, and beautiful gardens. Built in 2004, this home was never officially on the market.
Property records indicate that Hart acquired the neighboring residence from Shakim Compere, a film producer known for his long-time partnership with Queen Latifah. Together, they founded Flavour Unit Entertainment in 1995, which has since signed an exclusive overall deal with Netflix and produced numerous films and TV series.
Compere and his wife Tonya purchased the estate in 2015 for $6.7 million, so it’s unlikely they made a profit from the sale to Hart and his wife, Eniko Parrish.
Now, the veteran comedian and actor oversees a sprawling 42-acre estate featuring two swimming pools, two sports facilities, and nearly 19,000 square feet of living space across multiple structures. There is also ample off-street parking for numerous vehicles.
Hart’s additional home is discreetly situated behind gates on a spacious lot. Behind its beige stucco and stone façade, the residence includes six bedrooms and six bathrooms. Inside, there are expansive formal living and dining rooms, highlighted by large windows and wide-plank oak flooring.
