Gymnast Simone Biles was moved to tears as she viewed the impressive Texas mansion gifted to her by her husband, NFL star Jonathan Owens.
Biles returns to Texas with her bronze Olympic medal, and her new home is truly exceptional. The gymnast purchased a nearly 4,000-square-foot house located north of Houston in July 2020, according to the Houston Chronicle.
This remarkable property includes four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a pool that Biles had installed after moving in. The newly built home features wood and tile flooring, a media room, and a dedicated dog-wash station for her French Bulldogs, Lilo and Rambo, as reported by the Chronicle.
Constructed in 2019, the stucco home offers an open floor plan that includes a foyer, a family room with a fireplace and tray ceilings, a kitchen, and a dining area, all outlined in the listing.
The kitchen boasts high-end appliances, quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, and an oversized island, creating a stylish and practical space. The main bedroom suite impresses with dual walk-in closets and a spa-like bathroom that includes a walk-in shower and a freestanding tub.
The community provides access to a private park with pathways, woods, and landscaping, as noted on the community’s website. Impressively, this luxurious home was purchased for under $750,000, according to property records.
Biles, a seven-time Olympic medalist, is reported to share the home with her husband, Jonathan Owens, who plays for the Houston Texans, along with Owens’ English Bulldog, Zeus.
The spa-like bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower and a separate freestanding tub, serves as a tranquil retreat within the home, as shown in photos Biles shared on Instagram. Her stylish bedroom, also featured in the images, gives a glimpse into her personal space.
Beyond her athletic accomplishments, Biles has been recognized not only for her performances on the balance beam but also as a mental health advocate. She withdrew from the gymnastics team final at this year’s Olympics due to experiencing the “twisties” and the loss of her aunt.
While fans celebrated her bronze medal victory, a representative for Biles did not respond to requests for comments about her beautiful Texas home.
