French Montana certainly knows how to live large, reveling in the luxury of his opulent Hidden Hills mansion

After six months, Paul “PG-13” George sold his expansive home in Hidden Hills, L.A. Back in 2016, the NBA star and his longtime partner, former stripper Daniela Rajic, purchased the 1.35-acre estate for $7.4 million.

The buyer is Grammy-nominated rapper and songwriter French Montana, who was born in Morocco. At 36, Montana has achieved significant success, with 13 billion combined streams and a diamond-certified hit, “Unforgettable.”

During their four-year ownership, George and Rajic made no significant changes to the architecturally unique mansion. Built in 1989 for a non-celebrity family, the 16,000-square-foot property combines modern and old Tuscan design elements. From the lawn and aerial views, the home has a bunker-like appearance, while from the street, it resembles a wide suburban church, complete with a large motor court.

In 2021, several high-profile names such as Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Jeffree Star, and Lori Loughlin with Mossimo Giannulli moved to Hidden Hills’ prestigious Ashley Ridge area, where French Montana’s new estate is situated, right next to Vin Scully’s property.

The mansion’s impressive 4,000-square-foot great room is a showstopper, featuring glass walls, motorized skylights, and even a mature indoor tree, all lighting up the polished floors. A cozy seating area near a large stone fireplace adds to the ambiance. The modern kitchen includes a marble breakfast bar with six horse-legged stools. Other amenities include a game room, a den with a fireplace, a formal dining room, a movie theater, a gym with a steam shower, a wine cellar, and a mahogany-paneled library.

While the master suite is spacious, it feels a bit dated. It features a sitting area with gray carpet, a bathroom with granite countertops and a couch, two dressing rooms or walk-in closets, and a “private sunning patio.” The patio overlooks the terraced backyard, complete with resort-like amenities, including a basketball court, children’s playroom, outdoor kitchen with BBQ, an entertainer’s terrace with a fireplace, and a separate music and TV center, all surrounded by privacy-enhancing sycamore and palm trees.

George and Rajic moved on to a new home when they bought DeAndre Jordan’s 10,000-square-foot Pacific Palisades property for $16.1 million in September 2019. Meanwhile, French Montana still holds onto his $3.3 million Tuscan-style Calabasas “starter home,” purchased from Selena Gomez in 2016. That property was listed earlier this year for $6.6 million, eventually dropping to $5.6 million before being taken off the market.
