Chanel West Coast recently joined Nessa on HOT 97’s “Nessa On Air” radio show, where she opened up about becoming a mother, TV work, experiences with Lil Wayne, and more.

Around the 25:00 mark of their conversation, Chanel discussed signing to Wayne, describing how getting a co-sign from Mr. Carter was one of the most significant moments in her career. She also revealed she will be opening up for Tunechi at the 2024 Illinois State Fair.

Furthermore, the former Young Money artist reminisced about missing her cousin’s wedding to meet Weezy F Baby for the first time, naming her dog “Weezy,” and receiving the best piece of advice from him. Chanel also touched on ignoring haters, playing her music for Tune in person, and seeing his reactions, among other topics.
