Rick Ross has banked $37 million to purchase a luxurious mansion on Miami’s Star Island

Rick Ross is set to pay over $37 million for a luxurious nine-bedroom mansion on Miami’s Star Island.

As reported by the Wall Street Journal, the exclusive island has been home to numerous celebrities, including Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Shaquille O’Neal, and Gloria Estefan over the years.

In 2020, Jennifer Lopez and her then-fiancé Alex Rodriguez added to the island’s allure by purchasing a 10-bedroom estate there.

According to TMZ Hip Hop, Rick, who grew up in the same Miami neighborhood as Flo Rida, is now joining the ranks of Star Island residents.

After spending millions to acquire the property, Rick is reportedly planning a complete renovation. The opulent residence spans approximately 40,000 square feet and boasts lavish amenities, including six bathrooms, a summer kitchen, and a heated swimming pool.

This stunning waterfront home features a small wooden dock in the backyard, providing direct access to the ocean.

Once he moves in, Rick will also enjoy an entertainment area among the many luxuries.

Reports indicate that the rapper known for “Money In The Grave” is nearing the completion of the estate’s purchase, which was listed for sale in May.

About two years ago, he bought a Miami home that previously belonged to NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire for $3.5 million, as noted by Architectural Digest.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Rick Ross recently paid Meek Mill $4.2 million for his Atlanta property.

Rick initially purchased a million-dollar home in Atlanta out of curiosity after he began earning substantial money as a rapper.

In a 2021 interview, Rick reflected, “I was always fascinated by homes, so my friends and I would often visit Atlanta.” He recalled how they would frequently pass by this location, stop, and marvel, saying, “God dɑmn.”

In his own words, “After I got my deal, I bought a million-dollar home that I still own just a couple of minutes from here, so I could ride by it every day while I’m in Atlanta, and that was the plan.”

His most impressive achievement is the expansive 109-room estate in Georgia, known as The Promise Land, which he purchased from Evander Holyfield.
