The Rock owns one of the 375 exclusive McLaren P1 supercars in the world, but it’s too complicated he can’t drive himself

Dwayne Johnson, the dynamic actor and former wrestler, boasts an automotive masterpiece in his collection—the McLaren P1. As reported by GQ Australia, the price tag for Johnson’s McLaren P1 starts at a remarkable $1.15 million. This car is part of an exclusive production run of only 375 units, manufactured between 2013 and 2015.

The P1 is hailed by McLaren as a high-performance engineering marvel, featuring an aerodynamically refined design with a precisely constructed chassis and centrally positioned cockpit.

At the heart of the P1 lies a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine paired with a 132 kW electric motor, delivering a combined output of 903 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. It can reach a top speed of 349 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds.

The electric-only mode offers a range of 30.5 km, while the RaceActive chassis control system optimally directs power to the ground, adapting to road conditions. Built with a carbon fiber monocoque body, it boasts twice the strength of titanium, similar to the Ford GT.

Dwayne Johnson’s selection of the McLaren P1 highlights his refined taste and admiration for cutting-edge automotive design. This rare and powerful supercar showcases McLaren’s commitment to exceptional performance and craftsmanship, delivering an unparalleled driving experience for its lucky owners.
