Beyonce, 28, is currently on an extended summer holiday before she returns to the States next month for the Video Music Awards.

She made her trip to Cannes from the quaint Italian fishing village of Portofino where she was snapped trying to negotiate the cobbled streets in a pair of killer heels.

During her leisurely boat trip on Sunday, the former Destiny’s Child star was seen going gaga over a cute little baby on board.

Talking of which, the RnB sensation is nominated for two collaborations with the one Lady Gaga for next month’s VMAs in Los Angeles.

The first is their video, Video Phone, and the other is Telephone. But they also have stiff competition in the form of Beyonce’s husband, who is nominated in the same category for his duet Empire State of Mind with Alicia Keys.

However, it appeared Jay-Z and Beyonce had put their rivalries on hold as they soaked up the sun on their love boat.
