Skip Bayless says the NFL sent Lil Wayne an apology letter, Wayne is flying out his mom for emotional support, and he won’t watch the Halftime Show.
In a new episode of “The Skip Bayless Show“, Skip Bayless voiced his frustration over the NFL snubbing Lil Wayne for the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in his hometown.
“Anyone can see this is just so dirty, rotten, wrong. Just so unfair… Lil Wayne is New Orleans.”
Skip then shared his thoughts on why he thinks Roc Nation chose Kendrick Lamar as the headliner instead. Interestingly, he also claimed that the NFL sent Wayne a letter of apology regarding the decision.
Despite his disappointment, Weezy told Bayless that he still plans to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 9th). However, he won’t be watching the Halftime Show.
The sports TV personality also revealed that when the news first broke about K Dot, it hit Tunechi “hard”. As a result, Tune is flying out his mother, Jacida Carter (Cita), from NOLA to be with him for “emotional support” this weekend.
